VTSIOM: more than 80% of Russians approve of Putin’s work

MOSCOW, may 10. /TASS/. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin approves 81,2% of Russians, the head of the government Dmitry Medvedev positively estimate of 44.7%. This is evidenced by data survey of the national center for the study of public opinion (VTSIOM), released on Thursday.

“The approval rate of the President’s performance by the average over the last week to 81.2%. Evaluation of the work of the Prime Minister and Government of Russia in the first week of may of 44.7%, 49.8% respectively. The average for the six years of operation, more than 55%”, — it is told in message VTSIOM. It is noted that the level of job approval of the state Duma since March fell from 43% to 42.3%, and of the Council of Federation, on the contrary, increased from 46,2% to 47.9%.

In the ranking of confidence in politicians in early may by a wide margin from the rest is still in the lead Vladimir Putin: in the last week of may this indicator was at the level of 46.9%.

In the polls on the second line remains defense Minister Sergei Shoigu (19,5% by 30 April and 2-6 may), the third — Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov (15.2 per cent). As reported by VTSIOM, the electoral rating of the party “United Russia” in the month of April grew, reaching 50,7% by the beginning of may. A rating “Fair Russia” also increased from 2.9% in mid-April to 4.7% in early may. The rating of the Communist party has slightly decreased and amounted to 9.3%, the LDPR has fluctuated in a narrow range from 7.8% to 8.4%.

The initiative Russian opinion polls “polls-Sputnik” held in April-may 2018, every day is polled 1,000 respondents not less than 80 regions. For the week the sample size is 7,000, the maximum error with 95% probability does not exceed 1.2%.
