The Ministry of culture complained about the number of companies that received government money
MOSCOW, may 10 — RIA Novosti. Acting Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky said that the Ministry of culture appealed to the General Prosecutor’s office to prosecute a number of companies that have not returned to the cinema Fund of the funds allocated for film production.
“The Ministry of culture of Russia appealed to the Prosecutor General about several unscrupulous companies that received since 2008 from the Ministry and cinema Fund of funds to support production and rental of movies”, — he wrote in Twitter.
Previously, Medina was informed that the Ministry together with the cinema Fund conducted an audit of companies that received funds from the Foundation for the production of films, but nothing has been removed and the funds are returned.
