Patriarch Kirill will perform prayer in the day of the inauguration of the President of Russia
The petitions will contain the words that God has given applicants the head of the state power and wisdom to govern the country.
MOSCOW, may 6. /TASS/. The fourth in the history of modern Russia the prayer of the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia to the service of the Fatherland the President of Russia Vladimir Putin will be held on Monday in the Annunciation Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin.
“By tradition, the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia after the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Russian Federation performs a prayer service in the Annunciation Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. Tomorrow will also be made thanksgiving, in petitions which are contained the words that God has given applicants the head of the state power and wisdom to govern the country, creating it the world and development”, — said the press-Secretary of the Patriarch, the priest of Alexander Volkov.
At the end of the prayer service, the Patriarch will read a prayer that is always used in the worship service. In it, in particular, has these words: “Umuda and guide it besprekorno prohoditi this great Ministry.”
For the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill this is the second blessing ceremony of the President of Russia to serve their country. The first service he conducted in 2012.
