Traffic will share the rights
The IFC will issue a driver’s license and put the car on the account.
To obtain a driving license and register a car is through multifunctional centers of public services. This issue is studied on behalf of the government, told “Izvestia” in the Ministry of interior and confirmed in Ministry of economic development and the Ministry of industry. At the end of the year the pilot project will start in Tatarstan. Under current law, the rights issued only in the offices of the state traffic Inspectorate, but in MFC they can only be reissued. According to experts, the innovation will facilitate the procedure and reduce the queue.
Russia will simplify the driving licences and registration certificates of the vehicle (STS) of the new generation. As told “Izvestia” in the Ministry of interior developed a draft government resolution on implementation of a pilot project for the issuance of these documents to the MFC. The experiment will take place in Tatarstan on 1 December 2018 to 1 March 2019.
As explained in the interior Ministry, also discussed the inclusion in a pilot project in Moscow and St. Petersburg and holding it for six months, not three, but a decision is still pending.
When it starts, the Russians will be able to choose where to receive services in the DCP or the traffic police departments.
