The Director-General of the Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons (OPCW) Ahmet üzümcü hopes that the paralytic agent “Beginner”, which, according to British intelligence, was poisoned by a former GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia, will be included in the list of chemical weapons, which are being international supervision.

In an interview with The New York Times Ahmet üzümcü said that in cases of poisoning of Sergey and Yulia Skrobala was used from 50 to 100 g of substance having a liquid form. According to Mr üzümcü, it is much more than needed for laboratory research. “For research to protect you will need, for example, 5 to 10 R”, — he said. According to Director General of the OPCW, it means that the substance could be made to use as chemical weapons.

The hypothesis that the use of concentrate has been specially designed for sabotage operations, confirms that he was in the large number found on the door handle of the house Skrobala on the bench where you found them, and in other places.

“One thing important to note: nerve agent, it seems, very stable, — said Mr. üzümcü.— It is not affected by weather conditions. This explains the fact that we were able to identify him in a while. We believe that he was of high purity.”

The Director-General of the OPCW also stressed that working to include nerve agents “Beginner”, which, according to British intelligence, was poisoned by a former Colonel in the GRU, the list of chemical weapons to be monitored. In this case, countries that develop or store such a substance will be required to say so.

We will remind, Sergey Skripal and his daughter Julia was discovered unconscious on a bench in the English city of Salisbury. As stated by the British police, they were poisoned as a Novice. Subsequently both came out of the coma.

The British press, citing sources close to the investigation, reported that the poison that was poisoned Skrypali, was produced in the closed Russian city of Shikhany, and the direct perpetrator was a former agent of the FSB, who arrived in the UK on the same plane with Julia Skripal and the same day departed.

Russia has consistently denied any involvement in the incident, citing the fact that “Beginner” was produced in other countries, in particular in the UK, USA and the Czech Republic. Czech President Milos Zeman confirmed the experiments which were carried out with the substance, but stressed that scientists have synthesized only a small number of “Newbie”, and after the experiments completely destroyed it.

“In November of 2017, the research Institute of the Ministry of defence in Brno were tested with a nerve poison that is classified as А230. The number of made of poison was very small, and then he was destroyed”, — said Milos Zeman.

He stressed that the security Service and information (counterintelligence) argues that the poison А230 not called “Beginner” and “Novice” is A234, but military intelligence believes “Newcomer” it is the poison А230.

Since military intelligence to the subject is closer than the civilian counter-intelligence, I made this conclusion: we had a small number made and tested a “Beginner”, and then destroyed. Know where and know when. And it would be hypocritical to pretend that nothing happened.Milos Zeman President of the Czech Republic

“The fog is lifting and the many deceptions of the government Theresa may appear the more clearly” — so commented on the statement by Milos Zeman, the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in his Facebook. She cited three examples of “lies the government Theresa may”.

The first is what the British experts found the country of manufacture of the chemical, which allegedly poisoned Skrobala. It reminded Maria Zakharova, has officially denied the British experts in the person of the head of the laboratory of Porton down.
