Girl in new York every morning waving to drivers metro. February 14, the train stopped for her!

Five-year-old new Yorker named Stella made friends with the drivers metro that carry it in the morning to school. February 14, Valentine’s Day, one of them thanked her for her kindness.

Every morning, Stella’s father comes to the metro station “Longwood Avenue” in the Bronx and waits for the part number 6 said a friend of the family Asya Valley. When the train arrives at the platform, Stella waving at the train drivers — and those waving at her and sometimes even honking.

A 5 yr old from the #bronx is looking for her #valentine – an @MTA motorman she waves to along the 6 line everyday had this special present for her … but she and her mom want to know his name so they can say thanks. @LindsayTuchman has the story on @NY1 #aroundtheboroughs pic.twitter.com/oTDmxbf6qi

This happens for five months — ever since Stella started to go to school. February 14, the girl was also waiting for the train. However, this time he was out of the tunnel more slowly than usual. So slow that the girl asked the father what was the matter. He suggested that this is due to the perpetual delays of transport in the city.

But then the head wagon stopped right next to the schoolgirl and her father! The driver opened the window and handed Stella a box of chocolates in the shape of a heart. He said, “happy Valentine’s day! Every time I see a little girl standing on the platform and waving his hand, my day gets better.”

And the amazing news is that the @MTA helped us locate him and put this little girl and her father (not mother as I previously reported) in touch. They wanted to thank motorman Joe Moreno for being so sweet themselves ! pic.twitter.com/3AI0uSwN2T

Edition NY1 tracked down this driver — he was a 47-year-old Joe Moreno, who works in metro 20 years. He said that he bought chocolates for his girlfriend and daughter when we decided together to take a gift for Schoolgirls from the platform. “For the average new Yorker we are invisible — but not for Stella!” — he explained.

Joe Moreno – you are not “invisible” to all #NewYorkers – you made this little girl’s day!!! And now you’ll be on @NY1 pic.twitter.com/xzvdAjKZqX
