Rocket “Soyuz-2.1 a” was launched from the Vostochny space centre
The Vostochny COSMODROME (Amur region), 1 Jul — RIA Novosti. Rocket “Soyuz-2.1 a” with the satellites for remote Earth sounding “kanopus-V” and nine small foreign satellites launched during the third launch from the Vostochny cosmodrome, the correspondent of RIA Novosti.

The third launch from the East was planned on 22 December 2017. However, after the unsuccessful second launch was lost to the Russian meteorological satellite “meteor-M” and small spacecraft 18, the third start with the new Russian cosmodrome was postponed to an indefinite date.
Once the causes of the accident — the imperfection of algorithms to control the rocket and the upper stage — a decision was made to postpone the third launch “for” 25 Jan 2018. Before the new year, Roskosmos, said that the launch is planned on the first of February.
