In Japan, taught the neural network to create images of the human mind
A neural network capable of reproducing images, which thinks was made by Japanese scientists. Now she is able to distinguish colors and to reproduce letters, shapes, images of animals, the TV channel “360”.
To train the neural network used data from the brain activity of volunteers who five times was showing different images. On each change of images recorded signals that are received by the brain. All subjects saw 1200 images, each at least five times.
After that change the brain received neural network. Additionally, scientists have added another deep generative neural network that allowed us to generate images.
After training, the neural network was able to create images of letters, geometric figures and objects. Was better simple objects. When using deep neural networks a coincidence the image was 79.7 per cent, without it, only 76.1 per cent.
