Five people were killed in an accident in Tambov region
MOSCOW, January 12. /TASS/. Five people were killed and one suffered serious injuries as a result of collision cars and trucks in Kirsanov district of the Tambov region, 81 km of the road “Tambov — Penza”.
On Friday TASS the head a press-services UMVD of Tambov region Alexey Zhdanov.
“At about 00:30 in Kirsanov district of the occurred road accident to participation of cars VAZ-2108 and the cargo version of “Gazelle”. In result of road accident the driver of “eight”, and four passengers died, the driver of “Gazelle” with serious traumas are taken to hospital,” — said Zhdanov.
He added that law enforcement agencies continue to establish the circumstances of the accident.
“In Tambov today it is snowing. Previously, when overtaking, the driver of a passenger car drove into the oncoming lane and collided with “Gazelle” — said the head of the press service.
According to currently available information, among victims there are no children.
