Dubai set a Guinness record for the most massive laser show
DUBAI, 1 Jul — RIA Novosti. Dubai new year’s eve set the world record for the most massive laser show, to see it gathered tens of thousands of spectators, the correspondent of RIA Novosti.
This New year show “Light Up 2018” for the first time have replaced the traditional fireworks at the highest building in the world — Burj Khalifa. On it for a few seconds until 2018 was launched the countdown to the New year, and then the audience for about 7 minutes, watched laser projection, accompanied by music, the tower itself, the neighboring skyscrapers, the famous dancing fountains. The show was filled with national symbols. In the end the tower was projected huge soaring Falcon.
The record will be in the Guinness book of records as the “the biggest laser and sound show projected onto one building.” Previous similar record was recorded in Hong Kong in 2013. Area laser projection amounted to more than 46 thousand square meters. The Dubai show was ahead in area previous record by more than two times the value of the projection exceeds 109 thousand square meters.
