Strategic non-nuclear deterrence will be an important area of work for the Navy

SAINT PETERSBURG, 1 Jan. /TASS/. The formation of groupings of strategic nuclear deterrence will become an important direction of work of the General command of the Navy of Russia, said chief of the Russian Navy Admiral Vladimir Korolev.

“The most important segment of the General command of the Navy in the future will be the formation of groupings of strategic nuclear deterrence in the composition of the ships – carriers of high-precision weapons, long-range, improvement of system of basing of the Navy, providing a balanced supply of arms and ammunition”, – said Korolev.
