Navy of Argentina exploring new objects in the search area for the missing submarine
MOSCOW, 31 Dec — RIA Novosti. The ship of the Argentine Navy Islas Malvinas with the Russian deep-diving vehicle “Pantera plus” explores new objects in the framework of the operation to find the missing submarine “San Juan”.
“At the moment the ship Islas Malvinas investigates new objects. In the evening in the search area will arrive the ship San Blas to refuel destroyers Sarandí…”, — stated in the message of the Navy of Argentina.
According to military, the operation also involved Oceanographic research ship of the Russian Navy, “Yantar”.
Submarine of the Navy of Argentina “San Juan” has ceased to leave on communication, November 15 at the transition from the naval base Ushuaia to Mar del Plata. At the time of last communication with submarines reported the accident. On Board were 44 people, including the first ever Argentinean woman-submariner Eliana Maria Krawczyk.
