The court refused to admit the elephants personalities
Court of Connecticut rejected the petition of defenders of animals on the recognition of three elephants from the mobile zoo personalities. According to advocates, this would help to protect animals. About it reports The Washington Post.

The authors of the document insisted that the elephants “has consciousness, they remember the past and can plan for the future, participate in complex forms of communication, demonstrate empathy and mourn for the dead”.
The judge called the argument “totally groundless”, noting that to satisfy the request has no legal basis or related precedent.
