Putin will not attend their own nomination for President of Russia
Vladimir Putin does not come to a meeting of an initiative group that will nominate him for President of Russia for a new term. The journalists said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, reports RBC.
According to him, in the work plans of the President on December 26, did not appear to visit the 57th pavilion of VDNKH.
“[The President] tomorrow is a very busy schedule. In this case, the presence of the President is not required”, — said Peskov.
That Vladimir Putin will not be at the meeting of the initiative group, previously reported by RBC of its members. “The law did not oblige,” — said one of them. In answer then to the question of RBC, whether Putin intends to attend the meeting of the initiative group, Peskov also said the President’s presence at the event is optional.
Putin announced the intention to become a candidate at its annual press conference on December 14.
