MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Former Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev, sentenced to 8 years in a penal colony, can be exempted from punishment for health reasons. About this TASS said a source in the judiciary.
“The speaker may be released from serving his sentence in the colony in connection with the presence of a disease preventing the detention or the serving of a sentence of imprisonment, in accordance with the regulations of the government”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
Resolution No. 3 of the Russian government to release detained individuals with serious diseases, decree No. 54 — the seriously ill, was sentenced to imprisonment. But are not those convicted and imprisoned after a verdict, and the verdict in force has not entered.
