The interior Ministry has called Syria a major source of calls to laminirovanie facilities in Russia
Moscow. 12 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — Most of the anonymous calls about bomb threats in Russia did with Syria, in fact it was about the cyber attack on Russia, said Deputy interior Minister Igor Zubov.
“The bulk of calls came from places of concentration of terrorists in Syria,” — said Zubov reporters on Tuesday.
According to him, anonymous calls, in addition to Syria came from Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Canada, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
“The intensity we can say that in fact it was about the cyber attack on the territory of the Russian Federation”, — he noted.
More than 2.5 thousand criminal cases initiated on the facts of anonymous calls about bomb threats in Russia in 2017, said Deputy interior Minister Igor Zubov.
“In the current period, 2.7 thousand of such facts for which criminal proceedings are initiated,” said the Teeth on Tuesday “Interfax”.
In the fall of 2017 emergency services major cities across Russia regularly received calls about allegedly planted bombs at various sites. No one case was not confirmed. In mid-November, the Moscow authorities have estimated the damage from such calls, saying that we are talking about hundreds of millions of rubles.
