Media: the explosion in the area of the disappearance of the submarine San Juan was more powerful than 100 kg of TNT
BUENOS AIRES, 5 Dec. /TASS/. Explosion recorded in the area of the disappearance of the Argentine submarine San Juan (“San Juan”), was more powerful than 100 kg in a trotyl equivalent. This was reported Monday by the TV channel “todo Noticias”.
According to him, experts of the Ministry of defense of Argentina has carried out a test explosion of 100 kg TNT at a depth of 40 meters in the search area of the submarine. The selected point is coincident with the approximate coordinates provided by the experts of the Preparatory Commission of the Treaty Organization the comprehensive nuclear test ban (CTBTO preparatory Commission), recorded “anomalous, single, short, powerful, non-nuclear phenomenon, corresponding to the explosion,” the day the last of the submarine contact.
