Turkey blocked “Wikipedia”
ANKARA, April 29 — RIA Novosti. The Turkish authorities blocked the access to the resources of the online encyclopedia “Wikipedia”, the newspaper Hurriyet on Saturday, citing a decision of the Council on information technologies and communication.
“In accordance with the law 5651, as a result of the technical and legal assessment of the Council on information technologies and communications subject to administrative actions against the website wikipedia.org from the 29th of April,” the newspaper quoted a statement from the Council.
