Greek fishermen caught seven sharks in the Aegean sea

ATHENS, 29 Sep — RIA Novosti, Gennady Melnik. Greek fishermen caught a seven-meter shark near the island of Skopelos in the Western Aegean sea, near the island of Euboea, according to local blog skopelos-news.blogspot.gr.

Large sharks are rarely caught in the waters near Greece. However, in March the fishermen of NEA Kio near Argolis (Peloponnese) caught a four-metre long shark, and two days later another shark with a length of two and a half meters.
