The area of the fires in Buryatia per day increased by more than eight times

Moscow. April 29. INTERFAX.RU — Total area of forest fires in Buryatia per day increased by more than eight times to a maximum of 1024 hectares, reported the Republican forestry Agency.
According to the press service, the number of forest fires has increased more than twice — up to 24 fires.
The forest is burning in bauntovskiy, jicinska, eravninskiy, Zaigraevsky, kubanska, Kizhinginsky, mukhorshibirskiy, Baikal, Tarbagatai, horinskom, Zakamensk and Tunkinsky regions of Buryatia.
Large centre operates on the territory of Tunkinsky national Park on an area of about 250 hectares.
Localized lesions in Ivolginsky, kubanska, Tarbagatai, Tunkinsky districts, including fire in the village of Sotnikovo in the village of Cheryomushki.
In total on suppression of active fires involved more than 600 people and 130 vehicles. In Buryatiya from-for forest fires introduced a state of emergency
Previously with reference to GU Ministry of emergency situations of Russia in Buryatia it was reported that on Friday the village of Cheryomushki Pribaikalsky district of the Republic due to the fall of the grass burned 21 houses, some residents are placed with relatives and in temporary accommodation village Gremyachinsk.
On Friday a state of emergency because of wildfires has been imposed on the entire territory of the Siberian Federal district.

As reported in a press-service of the government, during Friday Dmitry Medvedev held a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, Minister of emergency situations Vladimir Puchkov and Minister of housing and utilities Mikhail men.
On Saturday, the head EMERCOM of Russia Vladimir Puchkov together with the operational group of the Ministry arrived to Buryatia. The Minister in a helicopter inspected the situation with forest fires in the Republic.
