MOSCOW, April 25. /TASS/. The leader of the faction “Fair Russia” Sergey Mironov believes that the children of war in Russia have the right to demand compensation from Germany for his ruined childhood. This opinion was expressed on air of TV channel “Russia 24”.
“We have about 12 million children of war. They lost their childhood to blame? The fault of Nazi Germany. So if today Germany is to pay our citizens for their lost childhood?” – said Mironov.
He believes that this would be consistent with international practice. “The prisoners of concentration camps at the time, received compensation, the children of war in Israel has made such from Germany”, – stated the leader spravorossov. – There are international precedents, today we’ll go this way. If our government says no money, let us demand them with those on whose fault people have lost their childhood.”
In this regard, he said that the deputies “Fair Russia” will prepare a new draft law guaranteeing citizens a free legal aid in the preparation of the corresponding claims. “We will prepare such a bill, we will offer our children a war to sue for compensation. And that claim was properly drafted, we want the law to oblige all lawyers, all lawyers of Russia to help free children of war to submit such claims in Germany,” – said Mironov.
The deputies of the faction “Fair Russia” has submitted for consideration the state Duma draft laws on benefits and compensation from the Russian budget for the children of war. However, they did not find support from the parliamentary building.
