For the modern world currently there are three threats or three ideological fundamentalism: Islamic, personified by ISIL (ISIS, is prohibited in Russia), psevdokommunisticheskie in the face of North Korea and the liberal globalizatsii coming from a certain part of the elite of the West. This opinion was expressed by Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Konstantin Kosachev, reports the newspaper “Izvestia”.
To real threats, according to the Senator, and in the twentieth century, must be attributed not the phenomenon, and ideology. “Such, which are based on aggressive fundamentalist version, claiming to possess absolute and “correct” the truth,” he said.
“Of course, they are uneven in scope and ideological roots, but they have much in common: each resorts to blackmail, to threats and use of force, visual and media effects based on zombie activists ready for the idea at all,” — said Kosachev.
According to the Senator, Russia in the current situation it is necessary to “maintain a pragmatic dialogue, not to engage in ideological debate” with political partners and to continue “to integrate into a multipolar world as an equal and respect other peoples party”.
On 21 April in the state Duma was introduced the bill, allowing to cancel the decision on granting Russian citizenship for terrorist activities.
