The majority of Russians belong to President Vladimir Putin positively and trust him. This is evidenced by the data of the survey “Levada-Center”, published on the organization’s website on Monday, April 24.
According to the study, 32 percent of people in the country feel to the head of state sympathy, every tenth Russian (10%) — the rapture. Another 17% belong to Putin neutral, indifferent and 27 percent “can’t say anything bad about him”. About his negative attitude was reported by 4 percent, 6 percent cautiously.
Almost three quarters (72 percent) of Russians said his confidence in the President. Do not trust the leader of the country, 19 percent, 9 percent found it difficult to answer this question.
The main achievements of Putin during his tenure as head of state, the Russians called the operational effectiveness and reform of the armed forces (17 percent) and strengthening Russia’s international positions (14 percent). In addition, 8 percent noted the achievement of order in the country, maintaining a calm political situation, solution to the Chechen problem.
The least successful in the work of Putin as the inhabitants of the country considered the fight against corruption, bribery, as well as improving citizens ‘ standard of living, growth of salaries and pensions (32 per cent), curbing the oligarchs and limit their influence (21 percent).
The survey “Levada-Center” was held from 7 to 10 April. It was attended by 1,600 people in 137 localities of the 48 regions of the country.
