Suburban Reichstag is stormed

Last weekend in the Park “Patriot” in Kubinka took place military-historical reconstruction of the events of the Second world war “Storm of Berlin”. It was organized by the University “synergy” with the support of the Ministry of defence and the Ministry of education of Russia.

The reconstruction was attended by over a thousand representatives of military-historical clubs from Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Latvia and other countries. The audience saw in action a few dozen pieces of historic military equipment.

The event was attended by about eight thousand people, including many schoolchildren, cadets of military schools and cadets. “The Storming of Berlin” was also attended by Russian defense Minister army General Sergei Shoigu and Deputy Minister of science and education of Russia Veniamin Kaganov.

The rector of the University “synergy”, Professor Yuri Rubin, said that the presentation held at the eve of Victory Day, was of educational nature and was intended to convey to youth the “historical truth about the heroism of our people during the great Patriotic war.”

Previously, “synergy” has already held similar events. In October 2016, with the support of the University in the Park “Patriot” held reconstruction of Brusilovsky breakthrough — the major battles of the First world war. In the fall of 2017, “synergy” will show the audience a large military-historical performance devoted to the defense of Moscow.
