Champion Absolute fighting championship (UFC), Conor McGregor backed his sparring partner, Irish Artem Lobov after the defeat of the American Cab Swanson on the UFC 108 Fight Night in Nashville (Tennessee, USA). McGregor made an entry on his page in Instagram.
“It was a great fight. Proud of my brother Tom! What kind of path did a Russian Sickle. In a career full of UPS and downs, he never deviated from his path. I respect and love you, brother,” wrote McGregor.
Lobov lost to Swanson by unanimous decision in the night on Sunday. This defeat was the 13th for the 30-year-old native of Nizhny Novgorod with 14 victories. Lobov lives in Dublin, has Irish citizenship and is a sparring partner of McGregor.
