The US President noted that he was able to achieve with Merkel “incredible understanding”, despite the differences in the contributions to NATO and immigration.
“People give me credit for the wonderful relationships that I have formed with all of the leaders, including (President of Egypt Abdel Fattah) al-Sisi”, he said.
Donald trump met with Angela Merkel at the White house on March 17. Reporters then asked them to shake hands, but the American President on the request is not responded to. The White house later explained that there was a misunderstanding, although many media outlets came to the conclusion that trump ignored the Chancellor deliberately.
