Zhirinovsky suggested not to disclose the incomes of deputies for the sake of peace in society
Moscow. April 19. INTERFAX.RU — LDPR Leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky believes that the people and the press better not to know about the incomes of deputies and officials.
“All these declarations. Why we do it (reveal their — if)? We the people are annoyed: what the rich Ministers, deputies, governors,” — said Zhirinovsky at a meeting of the state Duma on Wednesday in the debate on the government report for the year 2016.
And the press, he said, “enjoying” publishing “hot news” about how many who have apartments or money.
“I said: remove all declarations! You know who to arrest — arrest without returns! You know who steals and who has any money. And why once again to create people the impression that there are multi-millionaires, billionaires and there (on the other hand — if) wages 5 thousand, 7 thousand”, — said V. Zhirinovsky, the members of the Cabinet headed by Dmitry Medvedev.
The Declaration on incomes and property of deputies were published on the website of the state Duma on April 14. As it turned out, the head of fraction of LDPR Zhirinovsky has got the biggest income for the last 2016, of all the leaders of factions in the state Duma: he declared an income of more than 79 million rubles.
