In an Australian national Park, Ballarat on 33-m to year of life died the oldest wombat in the world by the nickname of Patrick. He was the oldest representative of its species lived in captivity. Patrick was everyone’s favorite, according to Mashable.

Mother Patrick was hit by a car in 1987. After this baby was brought to the Park Ballarat. In the wild wombats usually live to 11 years in captivity rarely live to 20. Below you can see a short film about Patrick, shot in August 2016.

In memory of Patrick on the reserve will be a memorial plaque.
