The teacher on the conclusion to “Matilda”: I’m sick of war Poklonskaya with me
MOSCOW, 18 Jul — RIA Novosti. Director Alexey Uchitel said he believes the discussion around his new movie “Matilda” useless and unnecessary, and it is a shame and sad for those experts who have analyzed the pictures and gave their expert opinions.
Earlier the Deputy of the state Duma Natalia Poklonskaya said that he had received the answer of the experts on the movie “Matilda” and sent them a negative rating to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation. Poklonskaya told that at her request, experts and scholars made a comprehensive examination of the materials of the film, exploring all the available trailers and the full text of the script, which was submitted by the authors in the Ministry of culture to receive government funding. According to the Deputy, the Commission concludes that “Matilda” image doesn’t match the image of the Russian Orthodox Church canonized the Emperor Nicholas II.

The Director stressed that he was ashamed and sad that such people in Russia can be called experts.

He recalled the words of President Vladimir Putin that any artist has the right to freedom of expression.
“The film will be released, everyone will watch it, and then perhaps discuss it”, — added the Director.
Earlier on Monday, press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, speaking about the statement Polonskaya, noted that “trying to evaluate a film that is not yet ready, at least strange”.
