The speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko gave instructions to the governors of the regions by may 1 to hold the country’s General cleaning. Her words leads TASS.
“That’s really [need] to wash, to clean, to clean up. All citizens to engage, young people, students. A good tradition, when the people themselves participate in cleaning, then they will not litter,” said the Senator at the Council meeting on local government in the Federation Council. It is proposed to hold such events in every city, town and village of Russia.
Last April 14 Council meeting was attended by the heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, representatives of towns and municipalities.
In April, the mayor of the city of Almetyevsk of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Khairullin was invited residents to the city Saturday, clearing a parody of the hit “ice Melts” of the Ukrainian band “Mushrooms”. “My street is so shiny now — I removed her, I want to believe it or not.
