Lavrov: Russia and the United States a common position on the Minsk agreements
MOSCOW, 12 APR — RIA Novosti. Russia and the United States a common position about the necessity of fulfilling the Minsk agreements on Ukraine, said Wednesday the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov after talks with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson.
“We have a common position that the Minsk agreement 2015 must be fulfilled”, — said Lavrov.
He added that during the talks, “we are reminded of how under the previous administration established a two-way channel of consultations between Moscow and Washington in addition to four, working within the “Normandy format”.
“We have felt the interest of the current administration to continue bilateral contacts on this topic to help find practical ways to implement fully the Minsk agreements. We will such efforts to welcome, we are ready for them,” added the Russian Minister.
