MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. Meeting with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson during his visit to Moscow on April 12 in the chart of Russian President Vladimir Putin is currently not listed.
This was stated to journalists the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, drawing attention that such contacts not pre-announce.
“Any meetings we have not announced yet and still in the chart of the President meeting with Tillerson is not” — said the representative of the Kremlin, answering the question of whether Putin intends to take the Secretary of state. Peskov recalled that Tillerson arrives in Russia for talks with Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. “If such a meeting (Tillerson) will appear (in the chart of Putin), we accordingly will inform you,” — said the press Secretary of the Russian President.
“We are meeting not announce never, will she or will not — we don’t announce”, — noted the representative of the Kremlin. “You do not understand the issue,” Peskov said in response to speculation as to whether the likely failure of Putin from this meeting be regarded as a signal to Washington. “Keep talking,” advised the press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation to the journalist, noting that this topic is being actively discussed.
Earlier it was reported that Tillerson will visit Moscow on a working visit on April 11-12 and will hold talks with Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov. This will be the first visit Tillerson to Moscow as the head of foreign policy Department of the presidential administration of the USA of Donald trump.
The U.S. Secretary of state will take place in Moscow on the background of the situation with a missile strike USA at night on April 7 at a government air base in Syria. In Moscow this step is regarded as an act of aggression under false pretenses.
