MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. Russian defense Ministry suspends April 8, working under a Memorandum of understanding hotline of communication with the Pentagon. Military attache of the USA was handed a note, told journalists on Friday the official representative of Russian defense Ministry major General Igor Konashenkov.
“About an hour ago in the Russian defense Ministry had summoned a military attache at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, which was officially handed a note about the suspension by the Russian side from 00:00 April 8, 2017 fulfill their obligations under the Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of defence and the Pentagon on the prevention of incidents and ensuring the safety of aviation in the course of operations in the Syrian Arab Republic,” he said.
