The Russian health Minister Veronika Skvortsova arrived in St. Petersburg, where he held his first planning meeting as patients, victims of the explosion in the subway, told RIA Novosti Director of the Department of public health & communications Ministry of health of Russia Oleg Salagay.
“(The Minister) now examines patients… Already held the first planning meeting. The future will depend on the condition of the victims,” he said.
On Monday around 14.30 GMT on the stretch between the stations “Sennaya Ploschad” and “Tekhnologichesky Institut-2” St. Petersburg underground there was an explosion. Another explosion at the station “Ploshchad Rebellion”, was prevented by timely detection of an improvised explosive device.
The RF IC opened a criminal case under article “terrorist act”, the investigation will test other versions of the incident. According to the NAC, the explosion 11 people were killed and 45 injured are in hospitals.
