State Duma Deputy from St. Petersburg Vitaly Milonov with sadness the news of the death of Senator Vadim Tyulpanov and believes that the memory should be immortalized, said Sunday RIA Novosti.

Tulips in 2003-2011 was the head of legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, and then became a Senator. Milon himself for a long time was the assistant to the group when he was head of the Chairman of legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg. On Tuesday, the Tulips died on 53-m to year of life. A law enforcement source previously told RIA Novosti that the Senator died of a fractured skull in the accident.

“Of course, Vadim Albertovich deserves perpetuation of memory about him and his contribution to the development of St. Petersburg. It is true in spirit honorable citizen of our city. His departure is a huge loss for all of us,” said Milon.

The MP stressed that Tulips made an enormous contribution to the development of parliamentarism Petersburg and throughout Russia.

“He could combine rigid moral principles and at the same time was able to listen to different, even diametrically opposed viewpoints. He never made decisions rashly, pondering every move, every utterance,” said Milonov.

He also stressed that all the deputies of St. Petersburg, who had the honor to work with starting from the nozzle, felt for him a genuine respect even in moments of the most heated arguments on various issues.
