Medvedev approved requirements to antiterrorist protection of objects of the underground

MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on approval of requirements for ensuring transport safety, including requirements to antiterrorist protection of objects of the underground. Relevant document published on the website of the Cabinet.

“The signed decree approves the requirements for the various categories of objects of transport infrastructure of metros. Requirements determined by the system implemented by subjects of transport infrastructure and carriers of measures aimed at the protection of objects of transport infrastructure of subways from potential, direct and direct threats of acts of unlawful interference,” the document reads.

It is noted that the requirements are binding on all subjects of transport infrastructure (carriers) and apply to all legal entities and individual entrepreneurs operating in the transport infrastructure of metros.

It is anticipated that the decisions will contribute to improving the functioning of the state system of countering terrorism.
