Cooperation between Russia and the United States for the military departments continues to worsen, said first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on defense Andrei Krasov, commenting on the intention of Washington to conduct exercises with participation of Russian-speaking extras. His words leads RIA Novosti on Friday, March 31.
“Talking with optimism about the revival of some contacts between the military departments is not necessary,” — said the MP.
Krasov reminded that the us authorities is not the first year consider Russia the main threat to the security of the country. “They very much succeeded in terms of the demonization of the Russian Federation”, — he underlined, adding that NATO “race with each other trying to denigrate” Moscow.
Earlier Friday, a member of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Alexei Pushkov said that the plans of NATO to hold military exercises with participation of Russian-speaking extras in Germany indicate the presence of serious hostile intent against Russia.
On 30 March it became known that cooperating with NATO and the U.S. Armed forces recruitment Agency recruits actors for the role of Russian for exercises scheduled to begin on April 28. It was noted that they will play farmers or shop owners.
On 13 March a spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov has suggested that the movie channel CNN, “the Most powerful man in the world”, dedicated to Vladimir Putin, is critical. In his opinion, it would be too optimistic to think that some media “can go beyond that hysterical emotional background”, which prevails in the United States in relation to Russia.
