Suffering from drought Cobra came for help to the people
King cobras usually avoid confrontations with people, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Deadly snake suffered so much from thirst during the drought in the South of India that came to the local village in search of water.
The Network published dramatic footage showing how kind the villagers care about their local fauna. In the video, one person pours water from the bottle in a snake’s head, and she eagerly absorbs the liquid. Another peasant holding a Cobra by the tail, to prevent the attack on human rights.
More than three-meter Cobra was rescued in the village Kaiga, reports The Daily Mail.
Local environmental authorities said the drought had a serious impact on the wildlife in the region. So when the rescue team found the Cobra, the first thing people have done is offered her some water. Later the majestic reptile was brought to the animal hospital.
