Amurchanin was sentenced for stealing statues of Lenin, Stalin and Hitler
BLAGOVESHCHENSK, March 30 — RIA Novosti. Two years probation was received by a resident of the city of Blagoveshchensk of the Amur region for the theft of bronze statues depicting Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Mao Zedong and Adolf Hitler, according to the regional Prosecutor’s office.
“The court established that on November 23, 2016 during the day, the man climbed over the fence into the yard of a private house and on the outside of the sill of the bath secretly stole bronze statues. His actions caused the victim considerable damage in the amount of 37.5 thousand rubles”, — informs the Supervisory authority.
The guilt the man admitted, actively contributed to the investigation of the stolen statuettes, the damage to the victim is fully compensated.
The court found him guilty under the item “in” parts of 2 articles 158 of the criminal code (“Theft”) and sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment conditionally with a trial period in 2,5 years.
