Media: stewardess of German airline replaced the unwell pilot
A stewardess of German airline TuiFly in-flight substitute for the second pilot, who suddenly became ill, and helped land the plane.
It is reported by the Neue Presse.
The incident occurred on a Boeing 737-800 in October last year. However it became known of it only on March 28, when it ended its investigation.
During the flight in the airspace of France, the second pilot suddenly felt dizzy due to low blood pressure and was forced to move away from the helm. Flight attendant aircraft replaced him and helped the chief pilot to successfully land the plane.
According to Jan Hillrise, representative of the German airline, the crew in this situation worked perfectly.
