The head of the OSCE parliamentary Assembly, Christine Muttonen at a meeting with state Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that the organization will give his assessment of the situation with a “daughter” of Russian banks in Ukraine. About it reports “Russian newspaper” on Monday, March 27.
“We do not avoid discussions. We want to get to the bottom of the issue,” said Mottonen.
Volodin stressed that Ukraine is a part of the OSCE PA, the organization therefore needs to assess the “barbaric actions” of the authorities, guided by the “do not taste interests, and common democratic principles.”
“When immure its citizens just because they work in banks, although they are legal entities of the Ukraine, of course, here the voice of the OSCE should be heard”, — said the Chairman of the lower house of Parliament, adding that the pogroms of Russian banks happen “with the tacit consent of Europe.”
24 March it was reported that the international monetary Fund (IMF) will discuss with the Ukrainian authorities blockade of branches of Russian banks in Ukraine.
In mid-March, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has approved for one year sanctions against Ukrainian banks with Russian capital. They are prohibited to withdraw money in favor of the parent structures. During several weeks the radicals blocked the removal of all these banks in different cities of Ukraine.
