About 76% of flights delayed at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport
Flights delayed due to adverse weather conditions.
MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. Approximately 76% of departures and 57% of arriving flights delayed at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport according to the aviation portal Flightradar. As noted in the schedule posted on the aviation portal at Vnukovo airport on the flight was delayed 40% of trips and 27% for landing. At Domodedovo airport detained 62% of departing flights and 5% of arrivals.
In turn, the portal “Yandex. Schedule” announces the abolition of 18 and delay of 26 flights in Moscow airports. According to 18:40 GMT, in Sheremetyevo cancelled 8 flights, 20 more delayed. In Domodedovo canceled 10 flights, six will be performed with delay. From Vnukovo and Zhukovsky all flights will be made on schedule.
Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in Moscow region issued an emergency warning on strong winds and snow in the suburbs the next day.
Sleet, ice and wind to 20 metres per second are expected in Moscow in the near future, as well as in the night of March 28, said the press service of GU of EMERCOM of Russia in the capital.
