MOSCOW, 27 Mar — RIA Novosti. The earthquake of a magnitude of 6.1 occurred in the district of Alaska from the Nearer Islands, Aleutian chain, according to the USGS.
Tremors were recorded at 10.50 in UTC time (13.50 GMT), 66 kilometres West of the location of Attu station in the Eastern part of the island of Attu. The earthquake was located at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Information on victims and destructions did not arrive yet.
