KIEV, March 23. /TASS/. Prosecutor General of Ukraine ordered the Kyiv Prosecutor’s office to investigate the murder of former State Duma Deputy Denis Boronenkov. This was reported in the press service of capital Prosecutor’s office.
“On behalf of the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko jurisdiction in criminal proceedings upon murder eks-the Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation Denis Boronenkov, which occurred March 23 in the center of Kyiv, determined by the city Prosecutor’s office”, — stated in the message. While the Ministry has indicated that criminal proceedings are opened under article of the Criminal code of Ukraine “Premeditated murder”.
The Prosecutor added that an interdepartmental investigation team from among investigators of capital Prosecutor’s office and the National police, as well as defined group of procedural heads. Coordinates the work of investigators, prosecutors and operative units of the first Deputy Prosecutor of Kiev Pavel Kononenko. The investigation into the murder of Denis Boronenkov brought also operatives of the security Service of Ukraine. “In criminal proceedings appointed a number of forensic and ballistic examinations,” — said in the Metropolitan police.
