Media reported about the evacuation of a famous London skyscraper
MOSCOW, 23 Mar — RIA Novosti. The famous London gherkin building nicknamed “the Gherkin” are evacuated, the buildings are fire trucks, reports the Sun newspaper.
“We were called at 8.36 (11.36 GMT). The building was evacuated, but we’re still investigating the cause,” — said the representative of fire service of London.
According to eyewitnesses, the building also are the police cars.

The gherkin received its nickname because of the unusual shape and greenish color of the glass. The building is the headquarters of insurance company Swiss Re, but the lower floors are open to everyone.
Emergency services in London are working in emergency mode after the attack, which happened on the eve on Westminster bridge. Unidentified car knocked down several people on the sidewalk, and then drove to Parliament, where he was shot by police.
According to Scotland Yard, the victims were three people. In hospitals there are 29 victims, including seven in critical condition.
