In fact the incident initiated a criminal case under part 2 of article 318 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Application of violence dangerous to life or health, against a representative of power”). The case was assigned to the Department of particularly important cases of the regional investigation Department of the Investigative Committee.
Several days later the suspect was arrested. They found 41-year-old businessman Vitaly Sivolap. He claimed that he was not involved in the incident.
According to Ura.ru, Sivolap was a witness in the case of bribery in especially large size, and testified to the group of officials and entrepreneurs. It is noted that the bailiff came to seize the property of Tiffany Sivolap.
