The labour Ministry has prepared proposals on the transfer of the holidays in 2018
In particular, the Russians can expect a ten-day new year holidays from 30 December 2017 8 January 2018.
The labour Ministry has prepared proposals on the transfer of the holidays in 2018.
As the press service of the Ministry, proposed the following mechanism of transfer: days 6 and 7 January (Saturday and Sunday), coinciding with non-working holidays, will be moved to the March 9 and may 2 respectively.
It is also proposed to transfer days off from Saturday April 28, Saturday 9 June and Saturday 29 Dec Monday 30 April, Monday 11 June and Monday 31 December, respectively.
Thus, Russians can expect a ten-day new year holidays, from 30 December 2017 8 January 2018, and three – and four-day rest periods in February, March, may, June, and November.
Plan the following period, when the Russians will rest:
- 30 December 2017 8 January 2018 (the ten days from Saturday to Monday)
- from 23 to February 25 (three days from Friday to Sunday)
- from 8 to 11 March (four days from Thursday to Sunday)
- from 29 April to 2 may (four days from Sunday to Wednesday)
- May 9 (Wednesday)
- from 10 to 12 June (three days from Sunday to Tuesday)
- 3 through 5 November (three days from Saturday to Monday)
According to the laws of the Russian Federation, before every holiday working day should be reduced to an hour. Every year in Russia celebrate New year, Christmas, the holiday of Spring and Labour, Victory Day, Russia Day, and unity Day. Weekend days are set by government decree.
