SpaceX successfully launched a communications satellite into orbit
Heavy rocket Falcon 9 SpaceX with EchoStar 23 satellite was successfully launched from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral, reported on the company’s page in Twitter.
The launch went according to plan, the satellite successfully separated from the rocket into geostationary orbit.

On March 14 the launch of Falcon 9 satellite was postponed due to strong winds. The mass of the satellite is 5.5 tons, it will provide telecommunications services to Brazil.
Falcon 9 is a family of disposable and partially reusable launch vehicles for private space company SpaceX. The company was founded in 2002 by billionaire Elon Musk. The main purpose of the company is reducing the cost of space flight. Currently SpaceX completes development of the passenger space of the vehicle and provides cargo flights to the International space station (ISS).
