For 2017 it is planned to hold a joint meeting of the committees of the house of representatives and the lower house of the Russian Parliament. On Monday, March 13, said the head of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Leonid Slutsky, reports RIA Novosti.
“We are working to ensure that over the next year to adopt a joint meeting of the committees of the house of representatives and the State Duma”, — said the Deputy.
The first in three years meeting of parliamentarians of Russia and the United States took place on February 23 at the session of OSCE PA in Vienna, said “Interfax”. Lawmakers agreed to maintain contacts, exchanged phone numbers and email addresses. “The us side was attended by 10 senators and members of the house of representatives. Was very constructive tone of the discussion”, — said Slutsky.
From the Russian side it was proposed to create an inter-parliamentary working group or working Committee on the issue of international terrorism.
