In Antwerp banned the rallies of far-right Turkish

The authorities of the Belgian city of Antwerp has banned rallies Turkish nationalists. About it reports The Daily Sabah.

The opposition of the Turkish “nationalist movement Party” (MHP), standing on right-wing positions, has applied for two events on the future constitutional referendum in Turkey. It was approved, but after a few hours, organizers said that the meetings are cancelled. In the words of mayor Bart de Weber, a member of the far right Belgian party “Flemish interest”, this is done for security reasons.

According to functionaries of the IPA, the Belgian authorities regularly banned the rallies in support of Erdogan, while allowing the events of his opponents.

On 11 March, the Netherlands refused to accept the plane, the foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, who had intended to speak at the rally of the Turkish community in Rotterdam, and declared persona non grata by the Turkish Minister for family and social policy Fatma Betul saillant Kaya. This sparked riots in Rotterdam, to suppress which the Dutch authorities were forced to use special forces.

16 April, Turkey held a plebiscite in which the citizens propose to approve the amendments to the Constitution. If the majority vote Yes, the country will turn into a presidential Republic. The President will be the Supreme commander, will have control over key posts in the armed forces, will be able to form a government and dissolve Parliament. The post of Prime Minister will be eliminated, the number of parliamentarians will increase.
